Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is about getting Google to understand what your page is about. We want it to do this in order to rank it highly on their results page when people search for whatever the page is about. Of course, it also helps your visitors understand the point you are trying to get across!
So, if you ever write content for the internet you should think about SEO as you do so. This will make sure that you get the maximum benefit from the effort you put in.
